Samsung SDI Battery Systems is a global technology leader in e-mobility. Together with our customers in the automotive industry, we develop and test innovative battery systems for automotive applications based on state-of-the-art lithium ion technology.

The technology center of Samsung SDI Battery Systems is located in Kalsdorf, Austria, close to Graz. Samsung SDI is a full-service supplier for lithium ion cells, battery modules and battery packs for all electric vehicles as well as all types of hybrid vehicles.

Your core responsibilities are:
  • Technical clarifications with the customer
  • Leading a team of systems engineers in the project
  • Feature implementation planning in alignment with customer and internal development teams
  • Technical coordination in the development phase of Li-ion batteries at system level
  • The development takes place according to automotive processes (ASPICE and ISO 26262)
What you need is:
  • Completed technical education (Bachelor, Master, PhD)
  • Several years of working experience in a similar field, preferable in a leading position
  • Knowledge in the field of embedded systems development
  • Understanding of the functional interrelationships existing in the overall system (electrochemistry, high-voltage components, electronics, mechanics, software)
  • Independent, systematic and process-oriented approach, great initiative and sense of responsibility
  • Project management experience
  • Strong team and communication skills
  • Very good knowledge of English, German language skills are an advantage
Our offer for you:

With regard to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act, we offer the following annual gross remuneration (full time/38.5 hours) as a basis for negotiations for this position: EUR 56.000.–

We also offer a market-standard overpayment depending on relevant work experience and qualifications.
